 Born in 2000 in Italy, Letizia Palmieri began her piano studies at the age of 5. She graduated cum Laude and honorable mention at Conservatorio “Nino Rota” in Monopoli, studying with M° Paola Bruni and M° Roberto de Leonardis. She previously studied with M° Pasquale Iannone at Conservatorio “Niccolò Piccinni” in Bari and at “Accademia Musicale Pescarese”. She has graduated with a G.P.D.(Graduate Performance Diploma) in Piano performance and with a P.S.C. (Professional Studies Certificate) in Piano Performance as a recipient of scholarship at The Boston Conservatory at Berklee, under the tutelage of M° Michael Lewin, and with whom she is continuing her studies. During her studies, she has also attended several piano masterclasses held by distinguished pianists and pedagogues such as Stephen Beus, Yuval Cohen, Francesco Libetta, Leonid Margarius, Bruno Canino,Bruce Brubaker, Ralf Nattkemper, Erling R. Eriksen, M.Wladkowski, Alessandro Deljavan, Boris Bloch, Daniel Lebhardt, Gilles Vonsattel. She won numerous first prizes and first absolute prizes in national and international competitions, including: 32°International Competition for Young Musicians ''Città di Barletta'', “Formia International Competition”, CMS Vienna 18th International Competition, 33° International Competition ''Città di Albenga'', International Competition ''Giulio Rospigliosi'', International Competition'''Piana del Cavaliere, in Memoriam Pietro Iadeluca'', International Competition ''Città di Spoleto'', International Competition ''Giovani Interpreti,Pescara'', Honors competition Boston Conservatory at Berklee, “ “ Concorso Euterpe”; ''Concorso Salieri'',Legnago, International Competition ''Città di Bucchianico'', International Competition ''Jacopo Napoli'', International Competition ''Città di Caserta''. Festival and associations appearances have included Miami International Piano Festival, Villa Medici Giulini, Briosco (Milano); Camerata Musicale Barese, Fondazione “Paolo Grassi” Martina Franca; Primavera Pianistica -Kasteel D’Ursel (Belgium); Associazione Mozart Italia ,Roma “Liszt&Friends”; Festival “Duchi d’Acquaviva-Atri; Livorno Music Festival; Barletta Piano Festival; “Harvard Chamber Music Festival (Harvard,MA,Usa ); International Summer Academy at Mozarteum in Salzburg in August 2023. She has been performing solo recitals in Europe and USA, here there are some of the most recent venues : Musikverein (Bosëndorfer Salon)ORF TV, Tirana,University of Arts , Hingene,Kasteel D’Ursel (Bornem,Belgio), Boston, Harvard (MA, Harvard Chamber Music Festival), Boston, Seully Hall, Boston Conservatory; Bari for “Camerata Musicale Barese”, at Auditorium Vallisa and Circolo Barion; Roma, piazza Navona, Festival Liszt & Friends, “Associazione Mozart Italia”; Fondazione “Paolo Grassi” di Martina Franca, Spoleto (Teatro Caio Melisso), Palazzo della Marra (Barletta), Foggia, Teatro Umberto Giordano (Sala Fedora), Molfetta Chiostro San Domenico.

 She had her solo debut with orchestra in Italy at the age of 13, performing Beethoven concerto n. 1, with orchestra “Suoni del Sud” in Vieste and she had performed Chopin Concerto op.11 in October 2019 under the baton of M° Giancarlo Andretta at teatro Radar in Monopoli with the Orchestra Sinfonica of Conservatory “Nino Rota”. Her chamber music collaborations include featuring from Berklee College of Music professional video recording of Witold Lutoslawski Variations on a Theme by Paganini with pianist Sienna Tabron, published on Berklee online and Boston Conservatory website. She has been collaborating and performing in a duo with cellist Nick Johnson. TV appearances have included ORF TV AUSTRIA, TGR RAI 3, TG1 RAI FAI Day 2018. She has been working at the Boston Conservatory as an instrumental accompanist.
