Elena Bolelli

Elena is originally from Bologna, Italy. 

From the age of 4 she trained in ballet and contemporary dance at Endas Ensemble directed by Marika Mazzetti and Silvia Baioni.She received the Master of Arts and Bachelor Performing Arts from Northern school of contemporary dance in the Uk, Leeds.In 2016 she studied abroad at the Jerusalem Academy of Music & Dance in Israel. 

Later she joined the postgraduate company Verve under the direction of Matthew Robinson. During her time in Verve she performed and toured nationally and internationally with pieces by Sita Osthaimer, Lenka Vagnerova, Hannes Langolf and Matthew Robinson.

In 2019 she joined Holstebro Dance Company during her time with the company she performed and toured pieces by Jason Mabana, Stephanie Thomasen, Thomas Bentin, Marie BrolinTani and Tim Rushton.

In 2020  Elena started a collaboration with Nunzia Picciallo and their project was selected and founded by MOVIN’UP SPETTACOLO – PERFORMING ARTS 2020 promoted by MIBAC, Italy. 

Elena is a certified Gaga Teacher. She undertook the Gaga Teacher Training program in Tel Aviv and graduated in September 2021 under the artistic direction of Bosmat Nossan, Saar Harari, and Ohad Naharin. The training was partially financially supported by MOVIN’UP 2020 GA/ER Associazione Giovani Artisti dell’Emilia-Romagna And Maecenates associazione.

Elena is currently freelancing in the UK and Italy.
