La fotografia è il linguaggio visivo da lei scelto per rappresentare un sentimento, quelle sensazioni prettamente umane. Un linguaggio che a prima vista, analizza e pone subito in risalto l’assenza di qualsiasi presenza vivente all’interno degli ambienti; è proprio questa assenza, questa ricerca di uno spazio vuoto, di una completa condizione d’isolamento da tutto ciò che è vivo, una solitudine auto-imposta da parte di chi scatta a rendere le immagini così umane. L'artista dà molta importanza alle fotografie notturne: durante il giorno infatti, qualsiasi luogo da noi attraversato è popolato da persone, ma quando cala la luce, è l’elemento urbano a prendere il sopravvento sull’umano, con tutte le sue geometrie, le architetture nuove e vecchie che ci offre la città in cui viviamo o che magari stiamo visitando. Con la notte vengono messi in evidenza la miriade di particolari posti in risalto dall’illuminazione spettrale del neon: questi elementi sono carichi di colori che nella vita reale l’occhio non riesce mai a percepire e che qui acquistano un significato del tutto particolare, come a far diventare irreale il reale, regalando allo spettatore un piacevole senso di smarrimento, tenendo sempre conto dell’intimità di quel momento, di quell'irripetibile scatto. Il reportage crea un rapporto tra l’abitante e il viaggiatore che difficilmente si trova se non si possiede un mezzo di comunicazione come la macchina fotografia. Il viaggiare crea uno stato mentale diverso così da analizzare mode, culture, religioni e mischiando tutti questi elementi sembra di vivere in prima persona il transito in un paese sconosciuto, il toccare con mano una cultura altra. La mostra, risultato di alcuni dei viaggi che l'artista ha felicemente condiviso con la sua macchina fotografica, vorrebbe aprire una piccola porta sul mondo a chi si soffermerà davanti alle foto, provando a sentirne anche l'odore, il sapore, il suono. Il voler scoprire sempre di più la porta a scoprire altre forme di arte, come la pittura il disegno e il modellare ognuna di queste arti. Martha’s biography Born in Quito, Ecuador, South America, lives and works in Italy and abroad, has a degree in International Communication (the Faculty of Italian Language and Culture) in Perugia. Photography is the visual language of your choice to represent a feeling, that feeling purely human. A language that at first glance, looks, and is quick to emphasize the absence of any living presence within the environment, it is precisely this absence, this quest for an empty space, a state of complete isolation from all that is it “Life”, a self-imposed isolation from those who shoot to make the images so human. The artist places great importance on night photography: during the day in fact, any place we crossed is populated by people, but when the light falls, is the urban element to prevail upon humanity with all its shapes, the old and new architecture that offers us the city we live in, or maybe we are visiting. With the night are highlighted the myriad of places particular emphasis on the spectral fluorescent lighting: these elements are loads of colors in real life the eye is never able to perceive and which here take on a meaning of very particular as to make the unreal real, giving the viewer a real sense of loss, always taking account of the intimacy of that moment, of that unrepeatable shot. The report creates a relationship between the citizen and the traveler who finds it difficult if you do not have a means of communication as the car photography. The exhibition is the result of some of the journeys that the artist has happily shared with his camera, would open a small door on the world who will linger in front of photos, trying to sense the smell, taste, sound. She wants to discover more and more out the door to other forms of art, like painting drawing and model each of these arts.
