massimo ricciardo

Massimo Ricciardo was born in Darmstadt/ Germany in 1979 and grows up in Sicily/ Italy. He currently works and lives in Florence and Messina. After his studies at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Firenze/ Italia  and the University of Applied Sci- ences in Potsdam/ Germany  the italian artist is now working on a fusion of painting and visual arts where he combines different disziplines and materials.: photography, graphic design and video. In his curatorial projects, Ricciardos  aim is to involve his home country Sicily and create international networks for contemporary arts. As one of the founders of  the  international art- magazin “Etraarte“ he  stabilizes now together with Nathalie Nienkemper from Berlin new performatif definitions of ediorial projects. His works are regulary exhibited in galleries or pro- jectspaces in  Toscany and Berlin.
