Hoeing the sea

The work is evidence of a ninety-minute performance on the Tyrrhenian coast of southern Italy. Through repeated and mechanical actions, an isolated and aseptic subject relates to the natural landscape in which he is immersed, reflecting on some of the contradictions of our time and on the lability of ecological and social political promises up to the state of alienation of contemporary anthropocene man.
